Kathryn A. Costello

of Elmira, NY passed away on Saturday October 2, 2010 at St Josephs Hospital .She was born on March 16, 1918 in Berwick, PA the daughter of the late Charles H. and Pearl (Wilson) McKeand. She is survived by her children, Susan (James R. ) Cordier, Horseheads, NY andRichard P. Costello of Austin, TX.She was predeceased by her loving husband Thomas F. Costello.Kathryn retired from Newland Associates, she is a longtime member ofthe Ladies of Charity and St Mary's Church.Kathrynwas a lifelong lover of animals; in her memory those wishing may make memorials to the Chemung County Humane society & SPCA, 2435 Route 352, Elmira, NY 14903.The family will receive friends at St. Mary's Church (Southside) 224 Franklin St. Elmira, NY on Tuesday October 5, 2010 at 10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial there at 11:00 AM.
