Kathryn E. Gilbert

Age 90, of West Ave. Elmira, NY passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 6, 2003 at St. Joseph?s Hospital. She was born March 14, 1913 in Blossburg, PA the daughter of the late Frank and Maude E. (Mitchell) Gilbert. Kathryn retired from the Chemung County Court House in Elmira with over 30 years of faithful and dedicated service as Deputy Chief Clerk. She was a life member of the Central Christian. Her survivors include: sister-in-law, Cordelia Gilbert of Elmira, NY; along with several nieces, nephews and many close friends. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service honoring her life on Saturday, December 13, 2003 at 1:00 PM in the Central Christian Church, 309 South Main Street, Elmira, NY. The Reverend Richard Elliott will celebrate her services. Flowers are gratefully declined. Those wishing may direct memorial donations to the charity of their choice.
