Kathryn Homrighouse DePue of Spencer, NY passed away on May 3, 2013 following an extended illness. Kathryn was born May 27, 1926 in Sayre, PA to Manley and Annabelle Boone Hollenbeck.She was predeceased by husbands William Leonard, Kenneth Homrighouse and Robert DePue.She is survived by children Vincent Leonard, Virginia Knapp, Donald and Lan Leonard, Ruth and Mark Toda, David and Christina Homrighouse, grandchildren James Knapp, Ryan Gowe, David, Megan, Brian and Rachel Toda, Robert and Ridge DePue and great granddaughter London Wheet and great grandson, Hunter DePue.Kathryn graduated from Spencer Central School in 1943 and Robert Packer Hospital School of Nursing in 1946.She trained to serve in the Army Nurse Corp.She was employed at Tompkins County Hospital for 31 years as a head nurse and Assistant Nursing Administrator. The family extends a special thank you to Delecia, Diedra, Colleen, Monique, and Terri for their compassionate care giving.The family also extends thanks to all the kind and caring health care professionals at Robert Packer Hospital with special acknowledgement to Dr. Matt Novak whose guidance and constant personalconsultation was invaluable. The family will receive friends at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport on Wednesday May 8, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with Funeral Service there Wednesday at 1:00 PM, Pastor Steve Barrows will officiate. Followed by graveside service in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Oddessa, NY Guest book may be signed in obituaries at www.olthof.com.
