Kenneth C. Alexander Sr. Of Elmira, NY Age 80, was born December 14, 1935 the son of the late Lawrence J. and Nora (Galpin) Alexander, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2016 at the home of his son. He is survived by his wife: Donna Brown Alexander; his six children and two step-daughters: Mrs. Helen (Bruce) Davis of Corning, NY; Mrs. Donna (Tom) Thomas of Painted Post, NY; Mrs. Chris (Joel) Van Gorden of Lindley, NY; Kenneth Jr. (Diane) Alexander of Pine City, NY; John (Michelle) Alexander of Mosherville, PA; Mrs. Barbara (Dwayne) Bolt of Elmira, NY; Mrs. Lisa (Joe) Blide of Elmira, NY; Mrs. Joni (Ray) Austin of Virginia; brothers: Richard Alexander of Elmira Heights, NY; Carl Alexander of Gillett, PA; son-in-law: Dana Gee of Millport, NY; along with 19 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara, daughter Cheryle,brothers, Gene, Paul and Bobby. Ken was a Union Carpenter with Elmira Local # 281. He was a great outdoorsman and enjoyed camping with his family. He loved hunting, fishing, bowling and was an avid NASCAR fan supporting the # 24, Jeff Gordon. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
