Malinowski, Kevin V. age 55 of Elmira, NY Passed away, Tuesday, February 5th, 2013. He was born in Elmira, November the 2nd 1957, the son of the late John and Mary (Zukas) Malinowski. Kevin is survived by his wife: JoEllen Phillips Malinowski of Horseheads, NY; Children: Somer (Brian) Keller of Charleston, SC, Dustin (Elizabeth) Malinowski of Broad Run, VA, Alex Malinowski of Horseheads; Three grandchildren, Gavin, Eliot, and Harper; Brother: Anson (Tonya) Malinowski of Manns Choice, PA, Sister: Darlene Malinowski of Elmira along with several nieces, nephews and cousins, including special niece Shala, and cousin Vinnie Zukas. Kevin worked for Kennedy Valve Corp. for several years, and Toshiba until suffering a stroke in 2001, which forced him into retirement. Kevin was very likable, and always had an infectious smile, and a smart remark ready. Fishing was his lifetime passion-it didn’t matter what kind, or what time of year, he was out there catching them. He was also known for his famous “See ya when I see ya” Whenever he was leaving. He loved to play Euchre, and share his quick witted sense of humor. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY Saturday, February 9, 2013 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM. Funeral services celebrating Kevin’s life will be held at the conclusion of the calling hours at 5:00PM. Deacon George Welch will officiate.
