Kyle David Decker

Kyle David Decker Was born March 10, 1989 the beloved son of David C. and Tanya (Congdon) Decker went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, April 21, 2013 in Ulster, PA very unexpectedly due to an automobile accident. His paternal grandfather, LaRue Decker preceded him in death in 1992. He is survived by his loving parents, David and Tanya of Gillett, PA; beloved sister and brother-in-law, Katelynn and Corey Bailey of Gillett, PA; adored fiancée, Tasha Northrup and her daughter, Arria Northrup of Athens, PA; aunts and uncles, Shaun (Becky) Congdon of Corning, NY; Barbara Lynn (Chris) Valero of Gillett, PA; Ken Decker (Ruth Scoville) of Natural Bridge, NY; Carolyn Wheeler of Red Level, AL; Stephen (Cheri) Decker of Gillett, PA; Vanessa (Barry) Austin of Gillett, PA; Valerie (Tim) Clark of Gillett, PA; paternal grandmother, Clarabelle Decker of Gillett, PA; maternal grandparents, Lynn and Barbara Congdon of Gillett, PA; along with several cousins and host of friends. Kyle graduated from Troy High School in 2007. Kyle was a student at Corning Community College with the criminal justice program and would have graduated this coming December. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Thursday, April 25, 2013 from 5:00 to 8 :00 PM. Funeral services honoring his life will take place on Friday, April 26th at 11 AM in the Gillett Baptist Church on 14 South in Gillett. Reverends Stanley Gill and Allen Goss and Rev. John Johnson will celebrate Kyle's services. Interment will follow in the Gillett Cemetery In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to the NRA Youth Division.Envelopes will be available at the funeral home
