Lasca L. "Toots" Wilson

Was born September 16, 1919 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Harold and Cora Louise (Judson) Spink, moved to her new residence in Heaven on Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at the age of 87. In 1934 at the age of 15, Lasca Toots married William S. Seb Wilson; they have enjoyed 72 wonderful years of life and love together. Toots is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Seb; beloved sons and daughter-in-laws, Henry and Mary Wilson of Millerton, PA; Donald S. and Mary Alice Wilson of Elmira, NY; much-loved grandchildren, Daniel (Kimberly) Wilson of Appomattox, VA; Susan (Alan) Jones of Mosherville, PA; Victoria (Michael) Shutts of Erin, NY; Gregory (Megan) Wilson of Horseheads, NY; adored great grandchildren, Courtney Wilson, Cassidy Wilson; Danylle Jones, Logan Jones, Auburn Jones, Braxton Jones; Michela Shutts, Tyler Shutts, Madison Shutts. Lasca graduated from Corning Community College receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She retired from the US Postal Service as Post Master after many years of dedicated service from the Cayuta, NY Branch. She was a faithful member of the Mosherville Bible Church. In earlier years Lasca and William enjoyed traveling in their motor home and camping with their family, especially enjoying the many trips to Georgia and Florida. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Saturday, June 2, 2007 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Funeral Services honoring Lascas life will be held there following the visitation. (3 PM) Her Pastor and friend, the Reverend Robert Bevins will celebrate her services. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family in the Maple Grove Cemetery Horseheads, NY.
