Laura M. Somers

Age 45, of Cedar Street passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at the Tioga Nursing Facility, Inc. in Waverly, NY after an extended illness. She was born September 14, 1959 in Elmira, NY the daughter of Richard and Betty (Simpson) Somers. Laura is survived by her beloved mother, Betty of Elmira; loving fiancée James Christian of Lowman, NY; much-loved siblings, Sandy (Richard) Ellison of Deltona, FL; Patricia (Gary) Driscoll of Albany, NY; Sheere Walter of Lowman, NY; Cindy Somers of Watkins Glen, NY; Vickie Somers of Orlando, FL; Rick Somers of Elmira; Jack Somers also of Elmira; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Laura was a crafter and enjoyed crafts. She had a great love for children even though she had none of her own. In accordance with her wishes there will be no prior calling hours or services. She will be cremated at the Southport Crematorium at a time convenient for her family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc.
