Age 25 passed away on October 24, 2006.Beloved husband, father, son, and brother.Lee was born on December 10, 1980 in Elmira, NY.He is survived by his wife Joanna Rodriguez-Tuma, and his son whom he loved so much Lee Tuma Jr. of Corning, NY;His parents David and Janet Peters ? Tuma of Pine City, NY;brothers David Tuma Jr. of Elmira, NY and Christopher Tuma of Pine City, NY; Karl Lewis and his wife Melissa of Quantico, VA; sister Carrie and Markedis Williams of Elmira, nieces and nephews.His father-in-law and mother-in-law Johnny and Elizabeth Rodriguez of Corning, NY.Brother-in-laws Jason, Jeffery, and Johnny Rodriguez of Corning, NY.He is also survived by his special grandma Sophie Peters of Pine City, NY, who he loved shopping with on weekends as a child.Lee, Carrie and David Jr. would run to the phone to see who was going shopping that weekend with Grandma.Lee especially enjoyed the private time he spent with his wife Joanna and son Lee Jr.Also, the many special times he had with his brother David Jr. and Karl enjoying life and playing games with his little brother Chris.Also, his special uncles and aunts Jeff and Jane Jack of Endwell who he enjoyed many fun vacations with.Also, Jim and Sharon Emmick of Horseheads, NY; Ronald and Vivian Peters of Big Flats, NY; Michael and Stephanie Peters of Binghamton, NY.A special thank you to the kindness shown by Jason and Jeffery Rodriquez and his mother and father-in-law, Johnny and Elizabeth Rodriguez.He always loved and appreciated the many Spanish dinners made by his mother-in-law.Lee was a very outgoing and loving person with a big heart that had room for everyone.Lee reached out to everyone that he encountered.There is not a person who knew him who was not touched by his life.Lee always had a hug for everyone and a compliment to warm their heart.Lee?s greatest ambition and passion was law enforcement. Lee?s goal was met when he was hired to be a police officer for the City of Atlanta, GA where he was injured in the line of duty.Some of Lee?s other jobs included working for his grandpa Lee Peters at Vasco Brands Inc. where he learned how to be a ?professional cleaner?.As a teenager he enjoyed working at the McDonalds ? Downtown.Lee always said, ?Mom, you are an angel!? and now Lee is our Angel.
