Lena C. Swatsworth

Lena C. Van Horn Swatsworth passed away on April 28, 2017 at age 95. Lena was predeceased by her husbands, Randolph K. Van Horn and Elmer C. Swatsworth; her parents, John and Victoria Chomenko; her sisters, Pauline Elston, Anne Chomenko and Vera Seely; and her brother, Maynard Chomenko. She is survived by her children, Nina (Don) Williams of Mesa, AZ, Richard(Grace) Van Horn of Big Flats, NY, and Carol (John) Viele of Horseheads, NY. She will be missed by her sister-in-law, Hazel Chomenko of Lowman, NY. Lena was loved by five generations of family and numerous friends. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira from 12 PM to 1 PM with a service to follow immediately at 1 PM.
