Leon G. Thrasher

Age 71, of Ridgebury, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. Leon was predeceased by his wife, Shirley on January 16, 2010 and his parents Ernest and Dorthy Thrasher, along with 4 of his 6 siblings.Leon is survived by his daughter and son in law, Tammy and Scott Leff, grandchildren, Desiree and Ryan Wilkinson, Katelynn and Jeff Cobb and Taylor Leff, great grandchildren, Jared and Joseph Wilkinson and Riley Cobb, brother; Gene Thrasher, sister; Sheila Lukowski, several nieces and nephews and special friends, Gary and Jeannie Caccia and Steve and Carolyn Nichols. Leon retired from L.R.C electronics in 1997 after 25 years of dedicated service. Services will be held Sunday, February 13, 2011 at 3:00 PM at the Pennsylvania Avenue United Methodist Church, 1238 Pennsylvania Avenue, Pine City, NY.
