Age 87, went home to be with her Lord, Sunday, July 27, 2003 peacefully at St. Joseph?s Hospital. She was born July 7, 1916 in Catawissa, PA the daughter of the late Thomas Mayberry and Eleanor (Wintle) George. Lillian was preceded in death by her loving husband, John J. Wylie in 1983 and her beloved grandson, Kenneth Infantino in 1986. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Dennis Infantino of Rochester, NY; Nancy and David Correll Sr. of Elmira, NY; grandchildren, Tina Elliott, Brian McElroy, Robin McElroy, Renee McElroy and Heather Watson; great grandchildren, Randy Elliott, Kendra Elliot and Dylan Watson; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. Lillian was employed by the Remington Rand in her earlier years, then Iszard?s and finally retired from Rosenbaum?s after several years of dedicated service. She was a devout member of the Central Christian Church on South Main Street. She took great pleasure in traveling and enjoyed arts and crafts. Lillian loved line dancing, playing cards and lived life to the fullest with a bright smile that was like a ray of sunshine. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Tuesday, July 29, 2003 from 2 to 5 PM. Funeral Services will be held there at the conclusion of calling hours. (5 PM) The Reverend Richard Elliott will officiate. Interment will take place privately and at the convenience of the family in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
