Linda B. Buffalin

Age 79, went to be with her Lord Sunday, March 10th, 2013 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was predeceased by her parents, Earl and Frances (Wescott) Burley of South Corning, NY, and her husband Arthur Buffalin.She is survived by her three sons and their families. Robert Scott II (Carole) Jack of Alexandria, VA; Jeffery (Jane) Jack of Pine City, NY; Chris Jack and Penny Kent of Elmira, NY, her grandchildren; Eric, Gary, Mandy, Jeffery, Crystina, Stephanie, Christopher, Michael, Matthew, and their families, and four great grandchildren. Linda was a member of St. Mary’s Church of Southside. She was also a member of the Ladies of Charity. Linda was a graduate of Arnot Ogden School of Nursing. She devoted her entire life to nursing and the care of others. Linda earned the nurse of distinction award given by NYS. Her services will remain private. Words can’t express how much she will be missed until we are reunited again. The family would like to thank the staff at Arnot Health Skilled Nursing Facility for their years of loving care. Donations in her name can be made directly to the Chemung County SPCA, American Red Cross, or St. Mary’s Catholic Church of the Southside.
