Linda J. Clinton

Age 66, of Elmira, NY died in her home Thursday, January 11, 2007 of an apparent stroke. Linda was born in Elmira, NY on June 23, 1940 the daughter of the late Charles E. and Anna (LaForce) Coleman. She attended EFA (Elmira Free Academy) and in 1959 married her high school sweetheart at age 19. In 1960 she would give birth to her first of four children whom she dedicated her life to. A devoted wife and loving mother, Linda, is survived by her husband, Bill, her three sons, Bill (Susan), David, and Robert, her daughter, Diana and her 12 grandchildren, along with multiple sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. on Sunday, January 14, 2007 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM with Funeral Service there Monday at 11:00 AM. The Reverend Anne L. Mowery will officiate, followed by graveside service in Fitzsimmons Cemetery, Southport.
