Linda Susan Delong-Stiles

Was born December 6, 1946 in El Paso, TX the daughter of Edward S. and Dorothy Louise (Gage) Stiles passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 2, 2009 at St. Joseph's hospital at the age of 62, family and friends were by her side. Her loving father, Edward predeceased her. She is survived by her beloved mother, Dorothy of Florida; daughter, Kelly Delong of Elmira, NY; brother, Edward (Ed) Stiles of Hollywood, FL; sister, Karen Stiles of Fort Lauderdale, FL; granddaughters, Kristina Becraft and Aubrey Becraft of Elmira, NY; nieces, Ashley Bemment of Fort Lauderdale, FL; Kimberly of Colorado; nephew, Edward (Eddie) Stiles of North Carolina. There will be no services. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to St. Joseph's Hospital 555 East Market Street Elmira, NY 14901 in her memory. Despite the many difficult circumstances that came her way, Linda possessed a "happy go lucky" attitude and brought joy and smiles to many. She always found the greatest pleasures in the simple things. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to the small, close group of caregivers, friends and the staffs at St. Joseph Hospital and Elcor Health Services for the unconditional love and care given to Linda.
