Linda L. Easton

Linda L. Easton, a native of Columbus, OH and a resident of Erin, NY, passed away on Tuesday, August 27th, 2024. She was 63 years old.

Linda retired several years ago and since then dedicated her time to caring for her husband and family. She was a fabulous baker who expressed her love by sharing her delicious Christmas cookies and other sweet treats. She was also an animal lover with a special place in her heart for dogs.

She was preceeded in death by: her parents - Joseph and Barbara (Biddle) Miller; her sister Patricia "Patti" Barker; and her brother-in-law Jeffrey Easton.

She is survived by: her beloved husband Matt Easton; her sisters - Cheryl Bickel and husband Carl, and Joan Maiberger and husband Ron; her brother-in-law Mike Easton and wife Cindy; her sisters-in-law - Saralyn Downs and husband Chris, and Joyce Easton; her nieces Jessica and Kaylynn; her nieces- and nephews-in-law - Kristin, Kelli, Tyler, T.J., Kiley, Ben, Jacob, Holly, and Jeffrey; her cat Bandit; and her dogs - Rowdy and Shadow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her honor to Chemung County Humane Society & SPCA, 2435 NY-352, Elmira, NY 14903, or by donating dog food and supplies directly to the Elmira Animal Shelter, 842 Linden Place Ext. Elmira, NY 14901.
