McDonald, Linda M. age 62 of Wellsburg, NY passed away unexpectedly at home, Tuesday, October 23, 2012.She is survived by her parents Marge (Holecek) and Bill McDonald of Elmira; Brothers: Michael (Beverly) McDonald of Elmira, NY, William (Michele) McDonald of Richmond, VA, Phillip (Mary) McDonald of Rochester, NY; Several nieces and nephews including: Stacey (Len)Talarico, Alicia (Josh) Hawken, Morgan, Megan, Shea McDonald. She is predeceased by her niece Michele McDonald. Linda was a graduate of Southside High School and the Elmira Business Institute with a degree in accounting. She worked for years at the Cameo Shop and CCSD Federal Credit Union before retiring. She was a proud and devoted member of the New Beginnings United Methodist Church here in Elmira. Linda was the family historian, who loved spending time with her nieces and nephew, traveling on bus trips and most recently had a new found interest in tropical fish. Family and friends are invited to gather at the New Beginnings United Methodist Church, 300 E. Miller Street, Elmira, NY Sunday, October 28th, 2012 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Funeral services celebrating the wonderful life and memories of Linda M. McDonald will be held at the conclusion of the calling hours at 6:00 PM. Her pastor and friend Michael Weeden will officiate. Graveside services will be held privately in the Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Those wishing please make memorials in Linda M. McDonald’s name to the New Beginnings Church, 300 E.
