Linda Louise Stanbro

Age 57, of Wellsburg, NY, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 2, 2005.Linda was born January 7, 1948 in Salamanca, NY; the daughter of the late Donald Peters and Marjorie Louise (Dennis) Stanbro.She lived her entire life in the Elmira area. Linda was a 1966 graduate of Southside High School and graduated in 1973 from the Free Gospel Bible Institute in Export, PA.She was a covenant partner of New Life Assembly of God Church in Elmira.Linda was employed at Martha Lloyd Community Services in Troy, PA for 28 years. She is survived by Donald and Jeannie Stanbro of Canton, OH; April Torrence of Deland, FL; Mark D. And Beth Stanbro of Chittenango, NY; Donna and Scott Burhyte of Elmira; Kelly Stanbro of Texas; and several nieces and nephews. Linda was predeceased by her father in 1997, her mother in 1998, and sister, Penny Stanbro in 2000. A celebration of Linda?s life will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2005 at 1:00 PM in the New Life Assembly Of God Church, corner of Lake and Second Sts., Elmira.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the New Life Assembly Of God Church, 325-327 Lake St., Elmira, NY14901.A ?Candle of Remembrance? may be left for the family in Obituaries at www.olthof.com .
