Lloyd Alfred Payne

Age 75 of Snowburg Rd. Pine City, passed away, July 10th, 2010 at home surrounded by his loving family.Reverend Payne served several appointments in his 45 years of ministry. He loved the many people that touched his life and the many lasting relationships that where harvested over the years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved carpentry work, building and remodeling many churches throughout his 45 years of community service.He will be dearly missed by his wife Leola (Hobart) Payne; son; James (Caroline) Payne of Pine City, daughter; Lucinda (Reinhard) Moyer of China, Lloyd Alfred Payne Jr. of Fort Worth, TX and several other extended family members. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Hand in Hand Free Methodist Church, 390 Warnick Street, Elmira, NY 14901 Saturday, July 17th, 2010 from 11:00AM to 2:30PM. Funeral services will be held there at 3:00PM. Reverend James Payne his son, and Reverend Ronald Payne his brother will officiate. Graveside committal prayers will be held on Sunday, July 18th at 12:00 PM in the Knox Cemetery, Windsor, NY.Memorial donations maybe made to the Hand in Hand Free Methodist Church, 390 Warnick Street, Elmira, NY 14901.
