Lois June Nash

Age 74, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2010 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was born January 9, 1936 in Sayre, PA the daughter of Wm. Grant and Luella Betsy (Cook) Nash. She was retired from the Arnot Ogden Medical Center with 44 years as a Registered Nurse in many positions. Lois was predeceased by her parents and sisters, Florence LaVigne and Clara Daly; brother Grant Nash. She is survived by her sister, Laura (Frank) Reynolds; Wayne (Darla) Nash; sister-in-law, Peggy Nash; along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Lois enjoyed bowling, volunteering and visiting Casino's. It was Lois's wish for no calling hours. A Graveside service honoring her life will take place on Thursday, December 9, 2010 in the Woodlawn Cemetery 1200 Walnut Street. The family will be meeting at the gate at 10:00 AM. Reverend Rick Price will officiate. A celebration of her life with a luncheon will follow at the home of Frank Reynolds 41 Reynolds Drive Extension Big Flats/Horseheads, NY after the graveside services. In lieu of flowers those wishing may remember Lois with donations to the Chemung County Human Society & SPCA, Inc. 2435 State Route # 352Elmira, NY 14903 or a charity a one's choice.
