Went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 16, 2005. She was born May 4, 1918 the daughter of the late William S. and Addie Terry Gardner in Burdett, NY.Long time waitress at Pierce?s and Moretti?s Restaurant, owner of Lake Street Fabrics, and operator of Serendipity Antique Shop.She is survived by her daughters, Winnie (Harold) Watts of Elmira, Loretta (Bud) McKeehan of Elizabethtown, TN; 11 grandchildren, including Michael Watts (Vicki Rachel), Mark and Kathy Watts, Barbara and Tim Miller, Charlene Watts (Dan Decker); 18 great grandchildren, including Sgt. Anthony Popkin, Lottie Mae Watts, Nathan Watts, and Gemma Decker; 2 great great grandchildren.Lottie was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Chido in 1965, son Wilfred Gardner in 1979 and seven brothers and two sisters.Her sharp wit and great spirit will be missed by all.Long time member of St. Mary?s Parish (Elmira Southside) and Ladies of Charity.Donations accepted in Lottie?s name to St. Mary?s .Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY on Sunday, September 18, 2005 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM with Funeral and Committal service there at 7:00 PM.Deacon George Welch will officiate.Interment at the convenience of the family in St. Peter & Paul?s Cemetery, Elmira.Those wishing may leave a ?Candle of Remembrance? for the family in Obituaries at www.olthof.com .
