Louis B. Schiffer

Louis B. Schiffer Age 63, was born April 22, 1953 in Brooklyn, NY and passed away on Friday, May 6, 2016 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. He is survived by his loving sister and brother-in-law: Helene and Art Goyette of VT and FL, and his family at the ARC of Chemung. Since 1990, Louis attended the day programs at Able 2 and enjoyed them all. He loved laying on his scooter and looking at all the scenery out his window. Helene will always remember just how much Louis enriched her life. Family and friends are invited to gather at his home, the ARC of Chemung, 525 Liberty Street, Elmira, NY for a Memorial Service celebrating Louis's life on Friday, May 13th at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in the Fitzsimmons Cemetery, Cedar St. and Maple Ave. at 11:00 AM. All are invited back to his home for light refreshments.
