Luana E. Barnes

BARNES, Luana "Tillie" RikerOf Elmira, NYAge 90, was born December 20, 1918 went home to be with our Lord on Sunday,June 21, 2009. Her loving husband, Cedric "Dick" and beloved sons, Gary and Lynnpredeceased Luana. She is survived by son, Dennis (Bonnie) Barnes; daughters,Carol (Ronald) Collins, Janet Cady Cleveland; six grandchildren, Mitchell & RandyBarnes, Pamela Sproule & Ronald Collins II, Kimberly Cady & Larry Cady II; sister, Ruth Frank of Ithaca, NY.; along with several great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral services honoring her life will follow the visitation at 7 PM. The Reverend Paul McPhearson will celebrate Luana's services. Interment will take place at the convenience of her family in Woodlawn Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her beloved Cedric. Memorial donations may be directed to the Calvary Church of the Nazarene 1205 West Church Street Elmira, NY 14905 or to the Southport Volunteer Fire Department 1000 Carl Street Elmira/Southport, NY 14904 in her memory.
