Lynda L. Banzon

Lynda L. Banzon Age 75, of Millerton, PA passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 10, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 25, 1940 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Cecil and Jean (Miller) McMullen.Lynda was a graduate of Williamson High School and received her LPN at the Pennsylvania College of Technology. She proudly served her country with the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. She loved her family and friends and treasured all the time she spent with them. She also had a special love for her feline friends. Lynda enjoyed traveling, especially to the sandy shores. Her brother: Chris McMullen, uncle: Garrett Miller, aunt: Arthea Johnson, and great grandmother: Genevieve Miller predeceased her. She is survived by her beloved daughters: Leah Banzon Maida (James Maida), Sylvia Banzon-Walker (Travis Walker), and Elana Banzon-Kimmey; grandchildren: Dominic Kimmey, Eric Jerzak, Mya Kimmey, Nicole Maida and Liam Cleary; long-time companion: Jeff Zuver and his children: Diann White, Gabrielle Zuver, Nicole Zuver-White and Courtney Zuver; brother: Philip McMullen. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Wednesday, October 14, 2105 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 15th from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. Funeral Services celebrating Lynda's life will follow the visitation at 1 PM. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
