Lynn G. Johnson

Age 56, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at home with his loving family by his side. Lynn is the son of Betty (Eldred) Johnson and his late father, E. Gerald Johnson, who passed away in 1989. He is survived by his beloved mother, Betty I. Johnson of Sayre, PA; loving fiancée, Kathy Nielsen of Mosherville, PA; much-loved, daughters, Kimberly Johnson of State College, PA; Stacy Johnson of Bellfonte, PA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Kathy Johnson of Sayre, PA; Bill and Renee Johnson of Waverly, NY; brother of Kathy Nielsen, Brian Nielsen of Penn Yan, NY; nieces, Ashley and Jennifer Nielsen of Penn Yan, NY. Lynn was presently employed by the US Postal Service as a Supervisor in Elmira. He retired from the US Air Force after 20 years of faithful service specializing in field intelligence with the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. He proudly served his country in Vietnam with 2 tours of duty. Lynn loved boating, Keuka Lake and relaxing in his hot tub. He was a devoted man that loved his family. A gathering of family and friends will take place Friday, May 26, 2006 at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Services celebrated by the Reverend Chris Curry, honoring Lynn?s life will be held following the visitation time at 1:00 PM. The Vietnam Veterans of America from the Rex Field Post # 901 will accord Mr. Johnson Military Honors following his services.
