Mable Karam Randall

June 14, 1925 — March 5, 2008

Age 82 of Elmira, NY passed away March 5, 2008 at St. Josephs Hospital.The daughter of the late George Edward and Anna Moses Karam, Mable was born June 14, 1925 in Elmira, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Marshall E. Randall in 2001 and brothers Carl Karam, Kadeen Karam, and Albert Karam. Surviving are her son and daughter in-law, Thomas R. and Lee Randall, granddaughter Ann Randall, great granddaughter Libera Randall the light of her life, brother and sister in-law, Samuel G. & Delores Karam, sister, Edith Miller, sister in-law, Margaret Peg Karam, many loving nieces and nephews, in the Randall, Karam, and Miller families. Many close and loving friends, including Genevieve DeDominick, MaryBeth Fiala, the old Jefferson Street neighborhood and her faithful companion Bo.Mable was a devoted member of the Trinity Episcopal Church, and taught Sunday school there for over 20 years. She was a devoted member and past president of the EL Syleban Club. Along with her husband Marshall, Mable was very involved with the Elmira Pioneers Baseball team and their activities. She received the Outstanding Service To Professional Baseball Award. Mable spent her life happily working at Karams Market along side her family. Family and Friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. on Wednesday March 12, 2008, from 1:00 to 3:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a Funeral Mass Thursday at 11:00 AM in Trinity Episcopal Church, Corner of Church and N. Main Streets, Elmira, followed by graveside service at Woodlawn National Cemetery, Elmira, NY. Those wishing may make memorials to the Arctic League or the Ladies of Charity.
