Majol J. Place

Age 85 of Elmira, NY went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 3, 2007 at Chemung County Nursing Facility. She was the daughter of the late Earl and Ida Johnson. Her son and daughter-in-law, Gordon and Lois Place, survive Majol along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her sister, Marcia Short and brother, Donald Johnson.Majol was a longtime employee of Panosians Street of Shops, Elmira, NY. She was amember of Southside Baptists Church and in her spare time she enjoyed building miniature houses.Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM with Funeral Service there at 1:00 PM.
