Of Himrod, NY passed away Friday, October 10, 2003 peacefully at home.She is survived by her husband, Bruce Silvers of Himrod, NY, daughter; Karen Tompkins of Elmira Heights, NY, son; John (JD) Simons of Auburn NY, grandchildren; Christopher and Paige Tompkins, sisters; Carnie (Dennis) Francis of Sterling Heights, MI, Ketch (Mike) Kolanach of Schenectady, NY., and brother; Roger Zabkie of California.Marcy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She truly enjoyed her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her wit, beauty, vivaciousness, and her love of life. The family will receive guests on Wednesday, October 15, 2003 at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY 14904 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.A memorial service will follow immediately after at 1:00 PM, with Father Rick Farrell officiating.
