Margaret R. Cuer

Was born August 11, 1928 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Harold and Margaret (Russell) Cordier, passed away peacefully on Sunday December 25, 2001 at the Chemung County Nursing Facility at the age of 83. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 65 years, Ben Cuer; sons and daughter-in-laws, John and Nancy, Mickey and Beth and Michael and Betsy Cuer; adored grandchildren, Gretchen (Jay) Ferraro, Katie Cuer, Christina Cuer, Erin Cuer, Meaghan and Tim Ham, Ryan Cuer and Sean Cuer; beloved great grandchildren, Alyssa Cuer, Gianna Ferraro, Jackson Ham and Ian Ferraro. "Marty" as she was affectionately known, retired from the former Remington Rand after 28 years of dedicated service. For the next 10 years, she worked forFairway Springs. Above all else, her family was most important to her. A gathering of her family and friends will take place on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY from 1:00 to 3:00 and 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral services honoring her life will be held there on Thursday, December 29th at 11:00 AM. The Reverend Horrace Stoddard will celebrate "Marty's" service.
