Margaret E. MitchellAge 77 Of Horseheads, NY, passed away following a brief illness on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at home. She is the daughter of the late Horace and Nellie Mitchell. Along with her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her loving daughter, Mary Daugherty-Covey. Margaret is survived by her children, Paul (Julie) Daugherty, Christopher (Eileen) Daugherty, Margaret (Bill) Garrison, John Daugherty, and David (Stephanie) Daugherty; grandchildren, Crystle Daugherty, Brian (Stephanie MacInerny) Daugherty, Stephanie (Phil Dean) Brink, Steven Brink, Christina (Brandon Coon) Brink, Joshua Daugherty, Jessica Daugherty, Jason Covey, Amanda (Andrew) Callahan, Kristopher Koontz, Madeline Daugherty, and Cassidy Daugherty; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Claudia Mitchell and Tanya (Rick) Leddick; special aunt, Molly Sankowski, also several nieces & nephews and her beloved “Gracie”. Margaret loved animals and was an advocate for many animal causes. She also enjoyed gardening and retired from Corning Inc.
