Margaret M. Rice

Of Elmira, NY passed away peacefully on Saturday April 21, 2007 at home surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her children; Gary (Maureen) Rice of Pine City, NY, Darla (John) Volker of Elmira, NY, and Karen (Dayton) Hall of Erin, NY, grandchildren; Edward Hurley, Scott (Dawn) Brown, Jennifer Batroney, Kelly (Jason) Stuart and Traci Volker, great grandchildren; Keslee, Stephen, Megan and Kyle. Also survived by her brother; Edward Rutski. Her husband Clifford Rice, parents, Anthony and Mary Rutski, sisters Christina Studzinski, and Agatha Mullen and brother, Louis Rutski, predeceased Margaret.It was Margarets request that there be no calling hours and a private graveside service be held at the convenience of the family. Those wishing may make memorials to the American Kidney Foundation or the Southern Tier Hospice and Palliative Care. The family would like to give a special thank you to Chris and Penny from the Nephrology Department of Arnot Ogden Medical Center for their kindness.
