Margaret L. Swithers

Age 90 of Bethany Courtyard, Horseheads, NY went to be with her Lord on Thursday July 3, 2008.The daughter of the late William H. and Lillian Day Ames. She is survived by son Robert (June) Swithers, daughter, Janet S. Swithers, grandchildren, Dawn (Lee) Cheney, Robert Jr. (Carol) Swithers, Deane (Jeff) Gardner, Kelly (James) Wagner, Greg Swithers, Robert Seymour, Ashley Swithers. Great grandchildren,Phillip, Katherine, Stanley, Joshua, Madeline, Parker, and Avia. Also survived by Sister, Lillian York, brother John (Dorothy) Ames. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley L. Swithers, son James E. Swithers, and grandson, Jamie SwithersFamily and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira on Sunday July 6, 2008 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM with Funeral and Committal Service there Sunday at 3:00 PM Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. she was a life long member of Centenary United Methodist Church, member of Pine City Womans Auxiliary, Pine City, NY,enjoyed playing Euchre and loved being with her children.
