DRAKE, Marguerite E. PeggyOf Elmira, NYWas born December 31, 1919 in Gibson, NY the daughter of the late Earl and Ruth (Brown) Phenes, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 18, 2008 at St. Josephs Hospital at the age of 88. Her husbands, Ronald Jungquist, Palmer Clarke Sickler, William Charles Drake; brothers, Leroy Chuck Phenes, Duke Phenes; sister, Bernice Phenes predeceased her. She is survived by her loving children, Sharon (Donald) Musty of Strikersville, NY; Robert Jungquist of Elmira, NY; Terry Stickler also of Elmira, NY; Pam (Danny) Jardin of Binghamton, NY; Roxanne (Dana) Randall of Horseheads, NY; Georgia Zimbleman of Virginia Beach, VA; 21 adored grandchildren; 10 much-loved great grandchildren; brother, Leslie Phenes of Tennessee; sister, Helen Lucieer of Horseheads, NY; best friends, Pauline Fields, Helen Manwaring and Dorothy Case; along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Loving canine companion, Cindy and feline friend, Tilly. Peggy was a member of the following organizations: the Moose Lodge, Southside; the American Legion Bentley Trumble Post, Horseheads; the V. F. W. Rex Field Post # 901, Southside. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY 14904 on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral Services honoring her life will follow the visitation. (7 PM) The Reverend David Daniels will celebrate Peggys service. Interment will take place in the Woodlawn National Cemetery at a later date and time convenient for the family.
