Marian Rose Kessler

Age 74, of Caton, NY, went home to be with her Lord, Wednesday, February 16, 2005 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving and caring family and friends after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Duane E. Kessler; beloved daughter, Keitha Kessler of Red Bank, NJ; constant canine companion, ?Bruiser?; along with several other relatives and many friends. Born in Springfield, MA, Marian was a Veteran of the US Navy proudly serving her country during the Korean War as a corpsman based in Oakland, CA at the Oak Knoll Hospital where she cared for the amputees from over seas. Marian worked along side her beloved Duane as a dairy farmer for 35 years. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Saturday, February 19, 2005 from 1 to 3 PM. Funeral Services celebrating Marian?s life will be held there following the visitation, (3:00 PM) The Reverend Anne Campbell will officiate. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family Elmwood Cemetery, Caton, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to the American Lung Association 1595 Elmwood Ave. Rochester, NY 14620.
