Marie E. Leupelt

Age 74, of West Hill Road Elmira Heights, NY passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving and caring family on Monday, February 9, 2004. She was born January 25, 1930 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late John William and Ruth Rachell (Rennells) Coakley. Marie married Gustav ?Gus? Leupelt on March 19, 1948. They have enjoyed 55 wonderful years of life and love together. Her brother, Jack Coakley and sister, Irene Churchman, preceded her in death. Her survivors include: her husband, Gus; beloved daughter, Sharon ?Sherry? Hamilton (Bruce Cady) of Horseheads, NY; sister, Ruth Miller of Elmira, NY; much loved grandchildren, Shannan (James) Russ of Horseheads, NY; Sean Hamilton of Columbia, KY; adored great grandson, Jared Russ, (the light of her life) along with several nieces and nephews. Marie enjoyed life to the fullest, but the most important and dearest to her was her family. She loved them all dearly and they will all miss her very much. It was her request that her Funeral Services and interment in the Woodlawn Cemetery be held privately and at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to Southern Tier Hospice 11751 East Corning Road Corning, NY 14830. The family of Marie invites friends to join them for a ?Time of Remembrance? on Thursday, February 12, 2004 from 2 to 4 PM at the Ernest Skinner American Legion Post # 1612 in Big Flats, NY.
