Marilyn J Butler

Age 90 of Millerton, PA, went to be with the Lord on Saturday June 28, 2014 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. Marilyn is survived by her children, Robert “Bud” (Kay) Voorhees, Steve (Cathy) Voorhees and Peggie (Chuck) Meyer; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Chase and Lois Phelps. Marilyn was a former employee of Williamson High School, Tioga Junction, PA. She was an active member of the Millerton Wesleyan Church, Best Years Fellowship, and the Millerton Senior Center. She was previously a piano teacher, choir director, cake decorator, and a trainer for Evangelism Explosion. The family will receive friends on Saturday July 5, 2014 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM in the Millerton Wesleyan Church, Millerton PA, with Funeral and Committal Service there Saturday at 3:00 PMPastor Laurie Greenlaw will officiate. In lieu of flowers those wishing may make memorials to the Millerton Wesleyan Church.
