Marilyn L. Sherman

Was born November 4, 1923 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late H. Benjamin and Mable (Wilson) Morrell passed away peacefully on Monday, May 10, 2010 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center at the age of 86. Her beloved husband of 64 years, Ernest P. Sherman in 2004 and beloved son, Benn M. Sherman in 1987 predeceased her. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ernest P. and Rosemarie Sherman of Flowery Branch, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Janeen and Jack Ripley of Gainesville, GA; 9 adored grandchildren, 8 much-loved great grandchildren, brother Richard H. "Doc" Morrell of Pine City, NY; along with 2 nieces. Marilyn was a faithful and devoted member of the Pine City Baptist Church for many years. Family and friends are invited to attend graveside services on Friday, May 14, 2010 at the Fitzsimmons Cemetery Southport, NY at 11:00 AM. Reverend Chester Williams will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to the Pine City Baptist Church 1516 Pennsylvania Ave. Pine City, NY 14871.
