Marion Phillips Zimmerman Buck

Age 87 of Appleridge at Bethany of Horseheads, NY, formerly of Homewood Avenue, Elmira; passed away December 24th, 2006 at St. Josephs Hospital. Marion was born in Elmira on April 21, 1919, the daughter of the late Arthur H. and Ella Hopkins Phillips. She was predeceased by her husband Stewart Zimmerman in 1983 and her second husband Truman E. Buck in 1994.Surviving Marion is her Stepson, Roger Buck of Port Ludlow, WA and Step Granddaughter Heather Buck of HI. She is also survived by several in laws, cousins and dear friends Frank and Louise Sheive of Elmira, NY.Marion was a secretary for Hygeia Refrigeration Company for many years, and later for the Elmira College. She was a devoted member of the Lake Street Presbyterian Church and the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. It was Marions request that there be no formal calling hours. Memorial services, celebrating the life of Marion, will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at 11:00AM at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY. The Reverend Ross Raymond will officiate. Interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira at a time convenient with the family.
