Of Elmira, NY passed away at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center on July 15th, 2003. Born July 9th, 1920, in Elmira, NY She was the daughter of Samuel G. and Nora Patterson Crum. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years John W. Dytman; her children, Nancy Dytman (Stephen Hand) of Ithaca, NY; John R. Dytman (Wendy) of Los Angeles, CA; Judith Baldwin (Douglas) of La Canada, CA; her sister and closest friend, Ruth Bauman; her grandchildren, Zen Ross (Mya Thompson), Leah Ross, Christopher, Katharine and Mika Hand; William and Samuel Baldwin; and several nieces and nephews. She attended Elmira schools and graduated from Southside High School and the Elmira Business Institute. For many years she owned and operated Dytman?s LightCraft Gallery. Marge was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, an active Girl Scout Leader, and a Monday Mothers member. She was a longtime member of the Elmira Country Club, where she enjoyed duplicate bridge. She was a devoted wife and mother, and a loving sister and daughter. Her family was always her first priority.She loved to travel and was a terrific cook, as everyone who knew her experienced. Marge was truly a lovely lady. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY on Saturday, July 19th, 2003 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Funeral and Committal prayers will be shared following the conclusion of the calling hours at 4:00 PM. The Rev. Clark N. McKinney will officiate. Interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, at the convenience of the family.
