Martha L. Picklehaupt

Age 91 of Elmira, NY, surrounded by family she passed away into the Lord?s home and the arms of her late husband; Kasper. Martha is also predeceased by her sister, Elisabeth Boehm. She is survived by her sister Lucie Berwald of TN; children, John and Charlotte Pickelhaupt of Elmira, NY; grandchildren, John and Tammy Pickelhaupt of VA, Richard and Barb of NY; great grandchildren, Erich and Emily Pickelhaupt, Daniel and Trisha Pickelhaupt; niece, Karla Ladrak and family; nephews, Dieter Boehm and family, Karl Boehm and family; niece, Katharne Kast and family; cousin, Herta Healy and family; several caring friends and neighbors. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY on Thursday, May 25th, 2006 from 7:00PM to 9:00PM and Friday, May 26th, 2006 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. Funeral services will be held there at 11:00AM. The Reverend Jane Winters officiate, Reverend Eugene Dobos co-officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, NY. Martha was born, raised, and educated Governess in her native ground of Germany.Martha was a home maker most of her life. She was a devoted member of the First United Church of Christ, and a member of the Women?s Guild. She loved her two feline cats ?WUTZI? and ?WUTZI?.
