Mary Ellen Frawley

Frawley, Mary Ellen (Dooley) Age 93 of Elmira, NY, born on November 22, 1923 to the late Matthew and Abigail (Murphy) Dooley in Elmira, NY, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2016 at the Lakeside Beikirch Care Center in Brockport, NY. Mary Ellen was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Gordon James Frawley; and her brother, Matthew "Bud" Dooley. She is survived by her son, Jack (Patti) Frawley; grandchildren, Erin Frawley and Brian (Amber) Frawley; great granddaughter, Quinn Frawley; sister-in-law, Tasa Vlajic-Dooley; as well as one nephew and several nieces. Mary Ellen was a graduate of Elmira Free Academy. She loved her family and her faith. She was also very fond of teddy bears, the color yellow and GARLIC! A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Church (southside), 224 Franklin Street, Elmira on Monday, January 2nd at 10:00AM. Reverend John DeSocio will officiate. Interment will take place at St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
