MILLER, Mary Jane Lifelong Town of Southport Resident Was born September 21, 1923 in Southbend, IN the daughter of the late Raymond and Bernice (Mick) Oyler, she passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center at the age of 85. Her loving husband, Paul Elliott Miller predeceased her as well as her longtime companion, Donald Guild of Elmira. Mary is survived by her beloved children, daughter, Carol F. Miller of Southport, NY; son, Ralph E. (Pamela F.) Miller of Ridgeway, VA; much loved granddaughters, Ashley (Ryan) Powell of Reston, VA; Paula (Eric) Thiel of Roanoke, VA. Mary was very active with the Corning Country Club, the LPGA Corning Classic and was in charge of the Merchandise Tent. Her greatest love was for golf and she enjoyed bowling at the Dixie Lanes in Southport. Mary Jane was a wonderful mother and was very supportive as well. She cherished her many friends and neighbors in the Southport Community. In accordance with her wishes, Mary Jane's Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of her family. She will be laid to rest in the Woodlawn Cemetery also at a time convenient to her family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to the American Lung Association 1595 Elmwood Ave. Rochester, NY 14620 or the American Kidney Foundation 6110 Executive Blvd. Suite # 1010 Rockville, MD 20852. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY. A 'Candle of Remembrance' may be left for her family in obituaries atwww.olthof.com
