Mary Elizabeth Robinson

Mary E. Robinson, age 79, passed away peacefully at home in Lancaster, South Carolina on Thursday, April 2, 2009,surrounded by her loving family. Born in Elmira, NY, Mary was the daughter of the lateHerman and Mary ( Crowl) Nissler. Her husband of over 50 years, Donald Robinson preceded her in death in 2002. She is survived by two sons, Gary ( Constance) Robinson of Elmira,Stephen ( Michelle) Robinson of Lancaster, SC, a daughter Diane (Thomas) LeRoy of Greenfield, NY, grandchildren: Kyle and Ryan LeRoy, Kaleighan Robinson, Darris Crandall and Sara Smith and great grandchildren: Paige, Hayden, Madison, Keely, and Jackson. Mary was a former worker at Hardinge Brothers and a life member of the Women's Auxillary South Port Fire Department. Her hobbies and special interest included knitting and reading. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave, Elmira on Monday, April 6thfrom 4 - 7 PM. A celebration of Mary's life will follow at 7 PM with Lay Pastor John Knapp officiating. Mary will be laid to rest next to her husband, Donald, on Tuesday, April 7th at 11:00 A.M.at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Elmira.
