Age 74 of Pine City, NY, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, October 11, 2003. She is survived by her children; Sandra (Paul) Lutomski, Robin (Gary) Conover, Bonnie (George) McCaslin, Connie (Doug Demaree) Decker, Jill (Philip) Cooper, and Hope (Tom) Hubschmitt; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters; Myrtle (Jim) Keithline, Mina Kittle, and Mildred (William) Folmer; brothers; David Clark, Les Clark, Harry (Mildred) Clark, Fritz (Mary Alice) Clark, and Ted (Laurie) Clark.Mary is also survived by her life-long friends, Charlotte Durfee and family, Robin Rosekrans and Meghan, and her special companions, ?Precious? and ?Star?.Her husband, Arnold Shepard, predeceased Mary. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.Her family was the focal point of her life.Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY on Tuesday, October 14, 2003 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday from 11:00 to 12:00 PM.A Funeral Service will be held there on Wednesday at 12:00 PM, with the Rev. Richard Hack officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.Those wishing may make memorial donations in Mary?s name to the Falck Cancer Center, C/O Arnot Ogden Medical Center, 600 Roe Ave., Elmira, NY14905.A ?Candle of Remembrance? may be left for the family at www.olthof.com.
