Was born October 27, 1941 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late John "Jack" and Teresa Marie (Cerio) Rossi passed away peacefully Monday, March 16, 2009 at her home surrounded by her loving and devoted family at the age of 67. She married Leslie E. "John" Marshall May 25, 1961 in Elmira. Her survivors include: loving husband of 48 years, John; beloved children, Debra L. (Randy) Marsh of Elmira, NY; James A. (Monica) Marshall of Wellsburg, NY; Lesley A. (John P.) Knapp of Elmira, NY; John S. (Kristen Pauline) Marshall of Horseheads, NY; much loved grandchildren, Ryan Marsh (fiancée Katrina Plate), Sean Marsh, Blake Marshall, Nicole Graham, Amanda Graham, Amanda Knapp (fiancée Caleb Drake), Allison Knapp, Ashley Knapp and Emily Marshall; sister, Jacqueline (Rudolph) Parker of Elmira Heights, NY; nieces, Shannon (Randy) Moore and Kelly Cogswell; along with great nieces, Samantha and Ayla Cogswell; great nephews, Brandon Parker and Bryon Champagne. Maryann was a former communicant St. Anthony's/St. Patrick's Churches. She was a former employee of the A & P Plant in Horseheads and retired from the Arnot Ogden Medical Center after several years of dedicated service. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Thursday, March 19, 2009 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral Services celebrating her life will follow the visitation at 7 PM. Her son-in-law, John will officiate. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
