Matthew is survived by his wife, Cara Smith, formerly of Millerton, PA; daughter, Savannah Rose Smith; parents, Linda and Robert Smith of Pine City; father-in-law, Harold (Ricanne) Wheeler of Millerton, PA; mother-in-law, Kim (Richard) Pratt of Kentucky; sister, Christine M. Smith; brother, Luke M. Smith; sister-in-law, Sheenah Wheeler; brother-in-law, Abraham (Sara) Wheeler; grandfather, Robert M. Masia; grandmother, Barbara (Smith) Ward; grandparents-in-law, Lewis and June Wheeler; Ted and Dena Loukota; Richard and Beverly Smith; 3 nephews; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; many friends from home and Virginia; and ?Shadow Marie?, man?s best friend.He was predeceased by his grandmother, Betty Masia; grandfather, Manville F. Smith; uncle, Robert P. Masia; aunt, Theresa Zinn; cousin, Patrick Titus; and uncle, Captain James H. Titus.Matthew was an avid hunter and fisherman and a graduate of the Southside High School Class of 1992.
