March 1, 1924 — June 10, 2004

Age 80, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 10, 2004 peacefully at The Waters at Three Rivers Painted Post, NY. She was born March 1, 1924 in Addison, NY the daughter of the late Alvord Curtis and Nora Mae (Learn) Kemp. Her brother John Kemp predeceased Mattie.She married Harold Clark July 3, 1947. They have celebrated 56 wonderful years of life and love together. Her survivors include her loving husband, Harold; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Dwight McCarrick of Caton, NY; Brenda and Raymond Schiefen of Horseheads, NY; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Charlene Clark of Addison, NY; grandchildren, Kelly (Jeff) Goltry, Dwight McCarrick, Dana McCarrick, Harold (Tricia) Schiefen, Tracy (Bryce) Page, Amy Webster and Harold (Beth) Clark; great grandchildren, Nicholas Goltry, McKenna Goltry, Alyssa Schiefen, Jacob Walrath and Karleigh Webster; sister, Carlolyn Hall of Addison, NY; brother, Claude ?Pete? (Deanna) Kemp of Addison, NY; brother-in-law, Alger Clark of West Elmira, NY; along with several nieces and nephews. Mattie?s life was her family and she will be dearly missed. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service to celebrate Mattie?s life on Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at 11:00 AM in the Caton United Methodist Church Hendy Hollow Road Caton, NY. Interment will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery Caton, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to the Caton United Methodist Church Hendy Hollow Road Caton, NY 14830. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY 14904.
