Maxine L. Learn

Maxine L. Learn, 71, of Chesapeake was called home on Sunday, November 4, 2018. Maxine, from Elmira, NY, was born in Sayre, PA. Daughter of the late John A. and Leatha E. (Lewis) Pierce Sr.She was predeceased by her husband, Brian D. Learn; brother, John A. Pierce Jr.She lived in Virginia and worked as an accountant for most of her life. Her family was her pride and joy. She is survived by her sons: Scott Learn (Anne) and Wade Learn (Tana); grandchildren, Joshua Learn (Nicole Kulik) and Cody Learn; great-grandchildren, Makayla, Kameron and Aubree; brother, Kenneth (Becky) Pierce. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. Funeral services honoring her life will follow the visitation at 2 pm. Art Thompson will officiate. Interment will follow in the Tioga Point Cemetery where Maxine will be laid to rest will with her beloved Brian.
