Maybelle A. Clinton

CLINTON, Maybelle A.Of Millerton, PAPassed away peacefully at the Towanda Skilled Nursing Facility in Towanda PA on Sunday, December 2, 2007 at the age of 95. She was born in Canton, PA the daughter of the late Justin and Mabel (Myrick) Jenkins. Besides her parents, Maybelle was preceded in death by her first husband Albert Merrick on July 4, 1968, her second husband Orson Clinton on December 4, 1984, daughters, NovaJean Merrick in September 1929, Dawn Hawkins in 1992 and son-in-law, Fred Hawkins in 2002. Mrs. Clinton is survived by a son Tim (Anita) Merrick of Erin, NY; 11 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Maybelle retired from the Remington Rand in 1972. She was a member of Millerton Senior Citizen Center and enjoyed quilting and knitting. Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira NY.
