Maybelle F. Kutka

Was born November 29, 1925 in New Rochelle, NY the daughter of the late Charles L. and Mary Mills (Bettles) [Earley] Martin Sr., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center at the age of 87. Her loving husband of 66 years, Alfred F. Kutka Sr. and brother, Charles ("Uncle Linn") Martin predeceased her. She is survived by her beloved sons, Alfred F. Kutka Jr. of Fishkill, NY; Bob (Esther) Kutka of Elmira, NY; much loved grandchildren, Jennifer (Alex) Colandrea, Jason Kutka (Lauren Basciani) and Dan Kutka; adored great grandchildren, Shannon Maybelle Colandrea, Cecilia Tapley, Elizabeth Kutka and Ashley Lynn Kutka. After the flood of 1972, Maybelle became very pro active with flood control and flood prevention. She was a 3 term councilwoman for the city of Elmira proudly serving in the 5th District. Maybelle was also a long time member of the Zonta Club. At her request there will be no prior calling hours. Funeral services will beheld privately at the convenience of her family.
